The two on the floor seemed to take absolutely no notice of the sheep, just continued on with what they were doing. However, when the wolf has released on of the hare's wrists, one which had wrapped around said canine's neck, a single crimson eye connected with the ram.
For the longest time, that horribly painful, pleading eye stared, begging for help, begging for assistance.
Of course, it was when the wolf let go of the hare's other wrist, that expression quickly died.
Within the next few seconds there was a sharp intake of breath and a tiny gapping sound as Donovan came to a sudden halt, not moving an inch. When there was a movement, it was the rabbit's as he slowly moved from underneath his black-haired assailant, leaving the wolf clutching a thick dagger of glass in his belly.
Finding what was left of his clothes in the dusty corner, the blonde only managed to slip into his jeans before bending down to grab a long, metal pole that lay stuck between debris.
There was a burning hate in that single crimson eye, as a pained yelp escaped Don's lips at the first hit.

The ram had no time or desire to react towards the scene that suddenly played out before him. Mainly because he knew how crazy that rabbit was and that whatever happened to that mangy wolf was his own fault. He certainly wasn’t planning on getting another black eye trying to help him out. The one he had gotten before was just now starting to fade.
However, something – someone - was planning on stopping the berserked bunny.
Strong arms wrapped themselves around Jesse’s small frame, that familiar voice growling, “Stop it already. You’ve done enough.”
It was Noel, who had arrived just in time. He wouldn’t have helped that scrawny wolf at all, really. After all, it looked like he deserved it. However, his Lassie senses kicked in, telling him that someone would have been upset if the wolf died.
Cassidy merely stood in silence, before placing a hand on his hip, muttering haughtily to Donovan, “See? I told you to leave him alone, stupid.”
“Shut up, ewe.”
That was a rather bad and unintentional pun on Noel’s part.

For a few silent moments, the hare remained still in the canine's grip, only occasional twitches disrupted the stillness. Well, that is, until the butt of metal pole collided with the dog's stomach, giving the rabbit a chance to get free.
And when he tore away from the hound, that single crimson eye burned straight at the sheep.
With an angry, senseless shriek, the end of the pole smashed unforgivingly into the ram's skull, the force of which seemed all too strong for the blonde. It seemed he'd been thrown into another one of his berserking rants. It would be stupid to try and stop him, considering that look in his visible eye.
Then again, it looked as though Jesse would kill the two, so something logically had to be done.
Standing above the fallen wolf, shaking with rage, an insane little noise that resembled a laugh escaped the rabbit's lips; the metal pole raised up a second later.
"Y-you should know better than to pick on rabbits, Donovan..."
The blonde aimed for a finishing blow, his limbs twitching with rage,

Watching the sheep fall sideways while struggling to catch his own breath, ears pricked and attentive from that loud bleat, Noel frowned. Someone had to stop that rabbit and there was no one else able to but him.
“Look, I don’t know what your problem is,” the dog grimaced, stepping forward, raising a hand. “But you need to CUT IT OUT.” His hand curled into a fist and he brought it down as hard as he could, crashing it into the back of the bunny’s skull like he had done Cass, who was a slightly bloody mass upon the floor now…

The metal pole hit the floor with a loud clang, the wielder falling a few seconds later. That visible crimson eye hazed over with the glassiness of unconsciousness as the rabbit fell, but it managed to just barely catch sight of the canine behind him. The realization in that split second burned into that eye.
One could have sworn the hare was dead, but the haggard breathing that came from him after a while was proof otherwise.
An eerie silence surfaced over the situation, but was broken with the thunderous parade of footsteps.
"Noel? Noel!"
It was Caroline.
The redhead bolted into the scene, John behind her as her eyes widened in horror at the bodies on the floor.
"Wha...What's happened?"

"Oh, I don't know, Caroline. I just happened to come here just in time to find everyone passed out and see a masked crusader leap out the window." A pause, just to let the sarcasm sink it. "What do you think happened!?"
The dog scowled, his ears lowering a bit with agitation. The hair on his neck was literally standing on end. With the beginnings of a growl rumbling through his throat, he eyed the rabbit laying limp on the floor, the other bodies...
"So I guess you want me to take care o' Jess?" The question had come out a lot more gruff than he had intended, but who could blame him? It had to be expected when having to deal with this sort of thing twice in a two-week span.

A huff of annoyance.
"Well, if I knew I wouldn't have asked you dummy!"
Scowling as she surveyed the scene before her, Caroline swallowed the lump in her throat that had surfaced. Whatever did happen, it was definitely not pleasant. Noticing the pool of blood near the semi-dead wolf, she gulped, her eyes widening slightly. Even if Donovan was an asshole, he didn't deserve to die.
Kneeling down next to the unconscious hare, the fox shook her head as she looked up at the dog, then to the tiger.
Then, rather softly she muttered.
"John, take Jesse to his room and get some help for these jerks..."
---------- Three hours later.
"It's not pleasant, Noel, it's not pleasant at all..." Wiping her hands on her pants as she walked out from the rabbit's room, Caroline wore a grave expression on her face as she stared at the door. With a soft sigh, the fox shook her head. "I don't know how to say this, but I think Jesse may have had a good reason for what he did..."
A pause, another look at the door, then to the dog.
"Donovan raped him...I never thought that bastard was capable of something this low!"

Silence.
"Well, he's a wolf." Noel growled. Inwardly, he was seething. He wanted to finish what the rabbit had started and rip apart that lousy wolf! Horny bastard, picking on the new kid. He had gotten what he deserved.
"They do that, y'know? Rape. Steal. ...Rape."
His calm demeanor was belied by a furious glint in his eyes, the growl trying to tear loose from his throat. His Lassie senses wanted some sort of revenge.
A pause. The dog's tail wagged with agitation.
"Can I see him?"

"Uh, um...Sure, I guess..."
With a shrug of her shoulders and a shake of her red head, the fox slowly pointed to the shut door behind her and then began to walk away. Before she fully got out of sight, she craned her head back and gave a small smile.
"If you need anything Noel, just call me, I'm going to go get some lunch ready..."
Then Caroline was out of view.
Meanwhile, behind the closed door, lying asleep, or so it appeared, was the hare. A small bandage covered his right cheek, his eye patch sitting on the table in the room. He could hear the voices outside the room, he knew others were there. But he just didn't know who they were.
He visibly tensed when the voices died down and he was left with nothing to hear but silence.
It was at this point when he sat up, wincing from the mild pain; everything everywhere hurt and it was most unpleasant.

The dog poked his head in, ears flattened against his skull.
"Hey." He lowered his voice in a gentle manner. "You okay?"
What a stupid question to ask! Of course Jesse wasn't okay! He had just gotten raped! Noel frowned at his own insensitivity. He needed to work on that...
He strolled over to the rabbit's bed, his tail wagging slowly, hanging low. He sat on the bed. He wanted to be as gentle as possible right now, since the rabbit seemed fragile, moreso than usual.
"You in pain?"

"I...ngh..."
Just as the rabbit had finally sat up, a throbbing ache pulsed through his entire frame, causing him to cry out and slump over forward. Clutching his arms to his chest, a ragged series of breaths escaped his lips as he cringed quietly.
"I'm fine...I just..."
It was strange how a few moments later the blonde slowly sat back upright, his shaken eyes, or his one good eye, staring at the floor. Then he looked at the dog, keeping his sickly white eye shut.
"I'm sorry, Noel," his apology was muttered almost too quietly, "I tried to kill someone again, didn't I?"
Jesse looked as though he were going to cry...
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, I just c-couldn't help myself..."

There was a silence that washed over the dog for those first few moments before he wrapped an arm around the broken hare. He seemed so fragile, so needy. His Lassie senses told him he needed comfort.
"It's okay. I would have kicked their asses, too."
There was a small frown on his lips from the memory of that scene, yet he forced a smile at the rabbit somehow. He didn't want him to be upset.
Maybe he was too doglike.
His tail wagged slowly, as he lost all control over his instincts. With a frown, he lapped gently at the other's cheek with his tongue. Maybe this would give him comfort. He hoped so. If it didn't, he'd be at a loss of what to do next.

Even as that protective and gentle arm held him close, something deep within the blonde told him not to move, to remain utterly motionless. So, even before he heard the dog speak, the hare had frozen up, his single red eye shaking. The poor boy had gone tharn, one could even say, even if he rarely acted like the rabbit he was, he still had the instincts buried deep inside him.
When he saw the canine's smile, despite it was forced, it still just comforted the blonde enough to slowly go looser and looser. It was only when the hare felt the other's tongue brush against the side of his face, he snuggled closer almost defensively. It was a desperate act, as though he had never been held before.
The truth was he hadn't been close like that in a very long time.
"N-Noel," uttered the rabbit softly as he clung to the dog, his good eye starting to water with tears.

"NO - EL!"
That shrill, piping voice alerted the dog greatly, causing him to snap up, eyes wide. Then they narrowed into a near glare, his expression changing into one of slight annoyance. "What is it now, Jie?"
A short, scrawny boy stood in the doorway, a blush painted already rosy skin. He looked like some sort of bear; the black ears atop his head jutted abruptly from white hair, and there was a slightly darker pigmentation around his eyes, like a panda.
"No - el," he pouted, stomping over and clinging to the canine. He was practically nude, save for a pair of lacy, panty-like underpants with a large pink heart in the front. "Where's Caroline? She took my clothes!"
"She's probably washing them or something." Noel sighed, burying his nose into the white hair. It smelled nice, but not nearly as much when compared to the rabbit. "It's not like you don't have any more."
"Those were my favorite," Jie whined, turned his head in mid-nuzzle and staring at the rabbit. "Who's this?"

Two thin black ears rose up, twitching around, searching for a sound a full minute before they cringed at the voice. Ears lowered on the scraggly blonde mop on his head, the hare instinctively pulled closer towards the canine, struggling to see out of his milky white eye. Lifting his head to pull the newcomer into view, the rabbit raised a brow, not saying a word as he slowly had begun to distance himself from the dog's embrace.
He wondered who this person was, he could tell right away though that he was a panda-like individual, he'd given up trying thinking why all these people were like animals, himself included.
"U-uhm..." uttered the confused blonde as the panda boy, nearly naked, closed his distance. Poor Jesse was really starting to feel uncomfortable around all these strange people, so much so a smidgen of fear appeared in his single crimson eye.
"Is he...a friend, Noel?" said the hare cautiously as he looked back and forth between the two.
