The dog took on an equally grim expression, the edges of his lips curling into a slight scowl. "Oh, fine."
He really didn't want to be the one to do this, but he had no choice. He really didn't. It was impossible for him to back out without feeling horribly guilty about it, feeling as if he could have done something to help. Damn Lassie senses.
Grabbing the rabbit as gently as he could manage, Noel gave a comforting smile down at him.
"Don't move. Okay?"
This would be difficult.

Taking hold of the hare's small arm, the tiger swallowed audibly as he looked down at him. This probably wasn't going to be pretty, of course John had never done this before but he knew it wasn't pleasant.
Speaking of the rabbit, which was currently trying to get as close to the dog as possible, despite his instincts to get away and shut his eye. The tiger, noticing this, shook his head softly and released a sigh.
"Look, I know it's going to hurt, so why don't I count down, so you can prepare for it, okay?"
The blonde nodded.
"One."
The hare's pulse quickened at the start of the countdown, he could here the blood beat through his ears in a deafening tone.
"Two."
A tiny whimper passed through his lips.
"Three!!"
The pop that sounded when the tiger shoved on the hare's arm was sickening. It was loud, just like the rabbit's terrible sobbed scream a few moments later. Tears pricked at the corner of his good eye and he was in a boatload of pain, but at least his shoulder was back in place.

Those two very same sounds disturbed the dog's sense. The pop was what nauseated him, and the rabbit's scream hurt his ears, tugged at his heartstrings. With a groan, Noel covered his ears, resisting an urge to howl at the noise. His ears throbbed so strongly, he could hear the individual beats.
He always hated loud noises.
Wincing, he pulled his hands away, touched the hare gently.
"Hey... you okay...?"
His ears gave another painful twitch.

"I am...F-fine."
It took the pained bunny a few moments to move again as he slowly stood up, still clutching his shoulder gingerly. Shutting his visible eye as he intook a breath, the blonde rolled his shoulder around as the joint set further back into place with a small crack. Rubbing the spot gently afterwards, the hare instantly looked over to the dog.
He smiled everso slightly.
"Hey, what was that scream for?!"
Nearly bursting in through the door and into the room were a collection of assorted animals, all looking in with burning curiosity.
Caroline blinked as she released her grip over her ears as well, (that was one Hell of a scream she thought) and waved a hand before walking over towards the partially confused hare.
Throwing an arm around the blonde's shoulder, the fox girl smiled widely.
"Everyone, this is Jesse..."

[ One Week Later... ] Things had pretty much gone back to normal in Noel's world, save for him having to get used to seeing the rabbit around. The dog had already gone back to his usual lazy habits, and was currently napping in his favorite usual spot. However, being part canine made him a very active sleeper. One could tell from his growling. "Dammit... badger... gonna... catch you." He snorted in his sleep, rolled over as his limbs twitched with a bit of a running motion. Another growl, a yip. In his dream world, the dog was getting quite frustrated, and it showed in reality. A scowl was on those thin lips, and both ears were pricked and erect. A snarl, a bark escaped his throat. Another bark startled him awake. "Ugh... what the hell?" He hated that dream. He still hadn't caught that goddamn badger.

"Jeeehseeee!"
A knock on the door.
"Are you awake? Lunch is ready!"
Silence.
A huff.
By the third time the red-haired fox knocked on the door, her tail swishing in decline of patience, she had gotten rather huffy. She wasn't used to being ignored when the subject was food, then again, this was the first time she had came bearing news of food to the hare.
But, even so, it was just so rude to ignore someone.
Opening the door with an angry little expression on her face, Caroline was getting ready to huff at the blonde bunny when she noticed he was no where to be seen.
"...Huh?"
As to where the rabbit had gone, it was to a certain area a few stair flights down, to a hole in the concrete wall, a very familiar though alien place. Hugging his over-sized black hoodie, (it was John's) to himself, the blonde avoided the half-decayed bodies on the floor, walking over to his holding tank.
His single crimson eye narrowed as he looked down at the control panel, fingers grazing over the keys.
He was troubled by something.

With a lazy yawn, the dog proceeded to go upstairs out of boredom. He'd rather check on that bunny than try to go back to sleep and catch that badger again. His ears fell back into their usual position as he rubbed his eyes, padded upstairs to locate Jesse's room.
It didn't take him that long, seeing as how he had that sort of memory about things, yet when he got there, so far, he only saw Caroline.
"Nnn. Is it lunchtime already? It better not be burnt." Noel yawned again, peered into the room. It was empty. The rabbit obviously wasn't in there. "...where the hell is Jesse?"
The dog didn't sound pleased.

The fox's eyes narrowed at that comment. "Ngh, shut up, Noel! I didn't burn anything today!" She paused in her huff to blink slowly when the canine asked his other question. Looking into the room again herself, Caroline shook her head.
"I have no idea, I just knocked on the door, and no one answer, and when I looked in he wasn't there."
She shook her head, a worried expression appearing on her face and in her eyes. There was no telling what could happen to him, considering a certain pair was out and about, the hare could be in danger.
"We...we gotta go look for him, he might be in trouble somewhere."
And perhaps he was.
Because as he was looking over the control panel, Jesse heard something in the room. With slight concentration, he lifted his rabbit ears, swiveling them around in order to listen. It sounded like footsteps, and soft breathing. There was someone else in this room.
Well, he was sure of it, until the sounds all stopped.
Taking a few steps to the side, as he was now leaning against the tank next to his own, the hare grew tense with partial fear.
"Is anyone there? H-hello?"

The dog's ears gave a contemplative twitch. The fox was right about this; that hare was still pretty new to the place. Who knows what kind of trouble he could get into, especially with Cassidy and Donovan about.
"Yeah... but... where would he go?" That remained a mystery in Noel's mind for a few moments. That is, until he thought about it for a few seconds. "The lab, right? We should check there."
And speaking of the lab, a certain sheep was getting more and more nervous by the second as he wandered around in it. He could barely see; it was as if most of his senses were completely nulled by the darkness. His ears gave the occasional twitch at the sound of his own footsteps, and his eyes, crimson-y and widened with anxiety, flicked every which way.
It didn't help any.
The blonde ram wasn't watching his step very well. That was obvious when he tripped over something he hadn't seen, let out a loud bleat of surprise before catching himself and stumbling over to an area where he couldn't be seen.
Cass was really beginning to hate it down here...

The sudden sound had startled the poor hare into hiding as he ducked in a tight space between two tanks and kept absolutely still. Hugging his arms to his chest, the blonde tried his hardest to make no sounds, even slowing down his breathing in an attempt to hide.
"Eh? Cass, are you okay?"
It was Don, walking over towards the sheep casually as if nothing had happened and as if it was clear as day. Damn his canine night vision.
"Neh, you gotta be careful, it's kinda dark down here, you wouldn't wa-...Ehh?"
The wolf was getting ready to finish his statement when an interesting smell came into play.
"Mmmm, Cassidy, I think I smell that bunny..."
Nodding her redhead as she looked around questionably, the fox looked back at the dog and exhaled a breath. "Noel, you go first, I'm going to go find John first, we might need his help if something happens."
Off she went in search of her tiger.
"You go on ahead," Caroline shouted, "I'll be down there in a few!"

The sheep frowned in a bit of a huff. "Why are you looking for him anyway? I want to go back upstairs! This place gives me the creeps!" Cass was definitely growing irritable from staying in the lab, mostly because he had trouble doing anything there. He hated this feeling; he absolutely hated it!
Meanwhile, the dog gave a small nod, turning to head downstairs. Hopefully he could find Jesse soon, before something happened to him. With a snort, he opened his nostrils, already preparing to search for the hare's scent.

"Hmph, then go back upstairs, Cass! I told you I wanted to talk to the little freak, that's all..."
Hrm, that hidden glint in the wolf's eyes said he wanted to do more than talk. Those canine ears perked at the sound of rustling in the corner as he closed in on what he thought as his prey.
Upon hearing someone come closer, the hare's heart rate nearly doubled as his breathing grew haggard and quick. Donovan would have no trouble at all finding the poor bunny. Curling up closer and into a little ball against the wall, Jesse shut his eye tight as he hugged his knees to his chest.
Oddly enough, the sound of the wolf's footsteps ended, there was only silence.
Opening his eye, Jesse wore a puzzled expression as he looked up to see two shining eyes staring down at him.
"Hmm, hello bunny."

"Fine! I will!"
With a scowl, the sheep turned and stomped off, ears pulled back and lowered in a usual display of anger. He had gone off into another one of his little tantrums. The reason why was perfectly plausible in his mind: Donovan was a jerk, and he hoped that stupid wolf would get hit by a train!
However, the closer the blonde ram got to the stairs the more his ears caught a familiar sound.
Footsteps.
Someone was coming downstairs.
Crap! Cassidy found himself with a sudden change of heart. If someone came downstairs and found him, they'd find Donnie with that stupid rabbit, and think they were being mean to the idiot. He didn't feel like being harrassed by Noel all day, that was certain. With a swift turn, the sheep headed back to the wolf's location, his pace quickening into a hasty jog.

There was the tearing of fabric, the quietly pleas to stop, and the angry half-growls all coming from deep within the old, abandoned area. It was difficult to see, because they two were hidden rather well, but something foul was going on.
A sharp intake of breath, a begging moan, a devious chuckle.
It was painfully obvious as to what was going to talk place in the corner of this old lab.
It was no use, the hare was just too weak to fend off that sex-hungry wolf, and nothing he did could have stopped the other. His one good eye looked over crestfallenly at the shredded remains of his shirt, all fight having leaked out from him. He didn't even remotely object when the other made quick work of his jeans.
The poor rabbit had resigned to the fact that there was nothing he could do, and just give up quietly, but someone had other plans.
"Neh, bunny, what's wrong, are you troubled by something?"
A scream, a terrible shriek of pain.
A series of painful moans...

The ram had indeed heard that terrible shriek that occurred only moments after he had begun his own search. It had only startled him into running faster, making sure that that mangy wolf wasn't doing something he'd regret later.
Yet when the sheep finally found himself there, lo and behold, that wolf was at it again.
"Donovan!" Cass's voice was even more huffy than before. He didn't even seem to realize the bunny's pain. "What do you think you're doing!?" A pause as he stamped his foot. "You could have just asked me! Hurry up, before that stupid dog gets here!"
