Author's Message: Alright, hey everyone! My name is Kathy and I go by the screenname OscuraFan008. After reading a ton of terrible Oscurita e Luce fanfics, I decided to write my own. It was an idea I got after a trip to Denny's. Yeah, please don't ask, I think of the strangest things when I go out to eat. Anyway, here it is, yep.
Disclaimer: I, OscuraFan008, do not own any rights to Oscurita e Luce, even though I desperately want to!
It was a quiet morning, another morning for business. All assortment of them would come in, for coffee, for scrambled eggs, for something else. Eyes the color of fresh cut grass this time narrowed as long hands turned the keys to unlock the front door of the fine establishment. Couldn't be too careful nowadays, not with all those Daywalkers around. Then again, what did it matter to him, all he did was run this little breakfast joint with the money he borrowed, (stole), from the royal family. Pushing open the front doors, Demitri took hold of the Daily Special signs, dragging them out front as he set them up, scribbling what was recommended this morning on the board with white chalk. Nodding with his work as he walked back inside, he straightened his tie, wanting to look professional as the manager.
Meanwhile, back in the kitchen, a petite young woman with black hair done up in two pigtails atop her head rubbed her lower abdomen happily, whistling a tune as she began to reach for the pans and pots she used every morning to cook delicious breakfasts for her beloved's customers. Clutching the pan to her chest she sighed heavily, love blossoming in her eyes. "Oh, my dearest, this morning I will cook the best breakfasts I have ever cooked in my entire life! I hereby swear it!"
"You say that every morning, woman."
Green eyes glaring at the girl, the Nightwalker male peered through the small window that separated the dining area and the kitchen, shaking his head as he listened to the girl. This annoying female was absolutely infatuated with him, it was a nuisance, but at least she could cook. Now, looking over the café, Demitri nodded to himself, yet he noticed one thing was missing from this equation.
Where was Cricket?
Author's Message: (So, my friends, we have Demitri as a manager for a breakfast cafe, strange I know. But don't worry, it'll become clear soon. Oh, and the pregnant girl in the kitchen is an OC named Fate, yeah. She's...out there. Anyway, stay tuned for Chapter One!)
