That small, weak voice could barely be heard, but somehow it managed to quiet the god's raging screams. Physically pausing, Seirei stared down at the dying individual beneath him, a look of confusion and what might have been hope replacing his earlier expression of madness. Ever so slightly his hands loosened, falling limply from the tiger's throat. Thin lips started to form a ghost of a smile, but this rare gift was short lived as a feeble force was applied to his shoulders, just enough to push the already dazed man backwards.
The frail body hit the floor with a thud, ebony and ivory lying in a turbulent mess on the ground. For a moment or two the god didn't move from his position, his body deathly still as if the impact had proved fatal, but this certainly wasn't so.
When he finally did move he said nothing, simply turning over and pressing his hands to the floor, pushing himself up to his hands and knees. He knelt there for a moment, breathing heavily, before his body began to shudder and shake. This was soon followed by heaving gasps and terrible coughs. Perhaps a ploy to gain the tiger's pity, or perhaps more. Either way it was a pitiful sight as the so-called "God" covered his mouth in a futile attempt to cover the awful sound, his body curling inwards with the effort.
It seemed the god had made a dreadful mistake by allowing himself to fall victim to the winter cold.
"DAMN RIGHT YOU'RE AN IDIOT!!!" Apparently Naoya's apology did nothing to help Suzume's already rotten mood. The silver-purple reptile hissed threateningly as he was picked up from the ground, scaled body writhing against the folds of the clothes and Naoya's warm chest. "You're lucky you're holding me right now, or I would bite you! And don't you DARE drop me!" That demanding and almost shrieking feminine-like voice seemed quite alien to the small animal, rather it sounded more like it belonged to a bird.
The shivering body sighed in frustration as the cat asked yet another stupid question. "Yes, I went to the store. Satoru asked me-- ... well, actually he told me to." He paused for a second before asking, "Why?"
"A-AH!!!" It took every bit of strength the poor little ox had to keep from falling over, though once again the rather unfortunate pile of towels fell from her arms.
"Oh..." Momoko looked a little saddened at this, but otherwise turned a smile towards the older woman. "Urara-sama." She greeted her, seeming hardly fazed by her... lack of clothing. Honestly, she was rather used to Urara being less than modest. "Good morning. Aren't you cold...?" She seemed to think for a moment before shaking her head with a small frown, "I'm sorry, I haven't washed them yet. I can do that for you now if you want...? I need to go back and re-wash these towels, anyways."
When Urara mentioned Kazuya she turned her gaze back towards the rabbit, bowing apologetically. "I'm so sorry, Kazu-kun. Will you please excuse me? I still have so much work to do..." She seemed to not even notice the animosity the monkey seemed to hold towards their mutual cousin.
